How to order a custom Rosary
Custom rosaries are easy to order.
1)First decide whether you want a medium rosary (6mm bead) or large rosary beads (8mm bead).
The 6mm bead is the average rosary size that is most commonly found. It is a good size for a lightweight rosary for your purse or pocket. It is a nice size for young people and ladies.
The 8mm bead is slightly larger size. But it is a wonderful size for prayer and my most popular rosary size for men and women. The variations that are natural in the gemstones are most easily seen in the larger bead. It is the size I chose for my own rosary and that of my husband.
2) Next decide what KIND of rosary you would like. Most of the rosaries on this website are Beaded Rosaries (also called Flexible Wire Rosaries, or Jewelers Wire Rosaries). I also love to make Chained rosaries and Wire wrapped rosary. If you would like a wood bead rosary, then the selection is rather limited. Contact me for more details. I make almost every kind of rosary that there is (I love all kinds). If you are having a hard time deciding, ready my article on "How to Choose the Best Rosary for YOU."
3) Next choose your Gemstones. You can pick a bead that you see on my website, or any other website. The stones I offer here are most commonly in stock, but I also can order beads if you have a special request.
4) Next choose your rosary parts. visit the Rosary Parts page on my rosary supply website, 'www.BeadedRosary.com". You'll be so pleased at the large selection of bronze rosary parts. All these parts also can be ordered in Sterling Silver. (I will give you a price quote through the Contact form) Sterling Rosaries are typically 3 times (or more) the cost of bronze. Choose your favorite crucifix and center and write down those numbers. Remember that the 8mm rosary is better with a crucifix that is 2" or larger in size. You may want to choose a larger center to match. The smaller 6mm rosaries are best with crucifixes that are 2" or smaller and a corresponding smaller center. If you are unsure if the size of the parts are right, choose a few and I will help you make the best choice.
5) If you have any other preferences for bead caps or Our Father beads, feel free to mention those as well. Remember, the bead caps on the larger rosaries will not fit those on the average sized rosaries.
NOTE: Any rosary I make can be made into a custom First Communion Rosary or Confirmation Rosary by adding a Eucharistic, or Holy Spirit center.
